Our consignors are the best part of our process! Keep reading below to see how easy it is to clean out those closets and make some cash.
How does consigning work?
You bring us children’s items that meet our current selling guidelines. We review and select items that fit Little Local’s style and inventory needs. Once your items sell, you receive your consignor portion of the sale.
Consignors receive 40% of the selling price, while Little Local retains the remaining 60%.
What types of items do you accept?
We focus on children’s clothing, shoes, toys, and other items that are current, trendy, gently loved, and in excellent condition. We are selective about what we accept so that our inventory stays current and appealing to our shoppers.
For onesies and sleepers in particular, we prioritize boutique brands, matching sets, and trendy prints.
Do you accept items with stains or damage?
Generally, no. We want to provide shoppers with quality items they will be excited to purchase.
Items should be freshly washed, clean, odor-free, and free from stains, holes, excessive wear, pet hair, and other damage.
What happens to the items once I drop them off?
Once we recieve your items, they are photographed, catalogued, priced, and entered into our website. Typically, items are active for three weeks. During the third week, you have the option to have your items marked as "On Sale" usually 50% off of the original price.
Items that don’t sell during their selling period are handled according to our current consignor policies. Please review our current consignment terms for details about unsold items.
Drop-off availability may vary based on our current inventory and processing schedule. Please check our Facebook for current announcements for upcoming drop-off information.
